This 1980s villa, situated on a 600m2 plot near Basel, originally presented challenges common to many Geneva residents: a compact 130m2 living space over two levels felt dated and lacked a seamless connection to the outdoors. We transformed this property into a modern, inviting home, maximizing every square meter. Our design reconfigured walls and windows to create a brighter, more open interior, while a new covered outdoor sitting area extends the living space and captures stunning valley views. By converting the unused attic into a luxurious master suite with ensuite bathroom, we significantly increased the villa’s functionality and value. A state-of-the-art open-plan kitchen and updated energy-efficient heating system complete this contemporary renovation, proving that thoughtful design can create spaciousness and comfort, even within a limited footprint.
